History
Bill and Troy met in the 1990’s. Bill was working as a Maintenance Supervisor for an apartment community and Troy owned his own repair business in town. When Bill needed help or advice, Troy was always able and willing to be there. As they became friends, Troy saw in Bill what he had seen in himself, the drive and ability to succeed in opening his own small business. Troy continued in his business and Bill opened his own small handyman service. They both had their own independent businesses and customers but also realized the value of working together and serving as each others tech support and sounding board. Over the last almost 15 years, they have shared good times and bad,meals, stories and adventures and have grown and learned every day.
In January of 2019, a new company was born. Troy, Bill and Troys son Talbert started AR Comfort in March of 2019. Troy and Bill combined their business skills to create a newer and stronger company. Talbert joined them to add youth and growth. They all have an equal stake and enthusiasm for creating something great.

Troy has worked in the field of general repair for over 30 years. He has owned a small handyman repair business for over 20 of those years. Before that he served as the regional maintenance supervisor for Aimco and Insignia for 7 years.. He brings a wealth of small business experience to the company. He has lived in Lancaster, SC area for over 25 years. He has a wife, Diane, and 2 children, Talbert and Taylor. He is also a Child of God.

Bill has owned his own service, repair and handyman company in the Charlotte area for almost 15 years. Previous to that, he worked in several local hotel and apartment communities as the Maintenance supervisor. Bill brings his business knowledge and his customer care expertise ….. Bill served with the Matthews Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years and with Matthews EMS for 9 years in the 80’s and 90’s. He has lived in the Concord NC area for over 20 years. He is married to Cathy Almon.
